How Many Shutter Clicks??

Hi Guys

I sure this question has been asked before, so please be patient with me

I purchased a used Canon EOS 30D about 12 months ago & out of curiosity I would like to find how many shutter clicks the 30D has made to date.

I've done a search on TP & the web to find information on how I achieve my goal, but as yet I've drawn a blank...:bonk:

Can you point me in the right direction?

If it's a used 30D then there's no way of knowing....sorry

If you have Flickr, take a picture and then upload it. Look in the "More properties" and at the bottom it should say how many clicks. My Flickr does

Cherryrig, your using a Nikon, the shutter count is different on a canon. Nice idea though

O I didnt know that. How do Canon do it then?

when I take a picture on my 30D it displays on the LCD, in the top right corner is a number which increases by one with every shot, currently it says 870-7289 so I presume 7289 is the shutter count as that's the number that's increasing, no idea what the 870 is though

Thats the file number, or the amount of times you have switched the camera on and off
