How many of you have sold off your whole kit and downgraded?

I've bought and sold loads of kit over the last say 8 years, mostly the larger items such as FF DSLR's,long lenses, grips etc. Funnily enough 2 cameras have stayed with me for years and I've had no desire to sell them, namely the Canon S90 and SX 120, when I trawl through my photos it always amazes me when I look at an image I like, and see it was taken with one of these two cameras. Portability is of course a factor, but for small sensor cameras the IQ is amazing IMO.

Owned a Canon 5Dc and Fuji XPro1. Sold both and got a Fuji XT10.
Purchased a Leica M8 and a few months after, sold the XT10 and lenses along with the M8 and made way for an M9.
Purchased a Canon 6D and a few used lenses.

The M is my go to 50mm shooter. I love shooting with it. The 6D covers everything else (long exposure, zoom, fast AF, etc.)

I don't really have any regrets. I miss the weight of the Fuji X at times but personally prefer the 6D overall even though some may argue the Fuji files are 'better'

I've been through a lot of kit in the last few years, from pro level gear to compacts and everything in between. I currently shoot M4/3.

There will always be compromises when 'downgrading' but I've found that as my attitude towards what is important has changed then it's easier to accept the limitations of specific cameras and systems.

IQ is less of a concern and price is more of a concern these days, but I don't feel that my pictures suffer at all because of what I use.

It's all about balance of what's important to you, what you want to spend, and what makes you happy.
