How many of us hate having our pictures taken?

OK, so we love to shoot .. but that doesn't, by default, imply that we like our photos being taken :suspect:

Personally, I am very self-conscious of my photo being taken and hence have always shied away from cameras.

Would be interesting to see how the rest of you face the camera :wave:

I hate having it done, I dont mind as if its my camera as I can delete :)
 
HATE it! but then again most people don't want pics of me because I'm ugly :gag:

I am such a camera whore, I act up for the camera and will ALWAYS be happy to pose :D
 
I absolutely hate having mine taken. Totally illogical I know, but I can't help it

Totally agree, also i have a brace which makes it hard to smile properly without my mouth being ripped to bits by the sharp clips and hooks my dentist insists i need.
 
Don't mind it so long as I'm doing something cool. Hate posing for the sake of it though.

HATE IT!

Only since I got fat though, and you can get some good shots of me IF I am not expecting it. I can't fake/pose smile and 4 hours of wedding photos killed me!
 
Let's put it this way, when I'm dead and gone, there won't be many photos of me other than when I was a kid and you could count the number of photos of me since I got married (19 yrs ago) on both hands.
 
Always hated getting my picture taken and these days hide behind my camera to avoid any chance of anyone catching me unawares.

The problem with that, my kids don't think of me as cool anymore. Old and wise, yes, but not cool at all :cool:.
 
I bloody hate having mine taken and will run and hide rather than knowingly be photographed...

I am a photographer so I can stay the rightv side of the camera,unfortunately the downside of my youngest getting interested in photography is that she keeps taking shots of me
 
For others who hate having their photo taken...

To screw up shots taken of you with flash, keep a flashgun on a slave shoe in your pocket - your flash will fire when it detects another flash so will screw up the meter reading (on a modern pre-flash meter) or the shot on an older single flash shot. Probably not a good idea if you're the groom though.

Apart from in Afghanistan, I'm not really allowed to shoot you if you point a camera at me...
Over there I can claim I thought it was an RPG...or a canon...
 
Hate hate hate it, I stay away from most places where people have cameras, a TP type meet would be hell for me. As far as I know the only pics of me in the last 15 years are at shows if I'm riding!

Well then, thank God I am not in Afghanistan ... and that I am not too keen on shooting "guys with cameras" :p

I just re-read that, I don't like the word "allowed" :suspect: :suspect: . . . most those who are shot were shot by those who weren't allowed to shoot them :thinking:

One of the beauties of being in Saudi Arabia, is that I am always wearing a head-scarf :lol: .. makes it very easy to just cover my face.
 
Prefer to hide behind the lens and not in front of it.

Saying that, my avatar is actually me, but an 80 x 80px shot of my eye is about my limit.
 
No chance I´ll appear in front of a camera, mainly cause I´m not photogenic. The other reason is that most "photographers" in my family are no good so you´ll either have your head, arm or leg chopped off or the whole picture is blurry... I´m far too critical... :D

Which is why we shoot back at them when they do...

You are referring to the insurgents and criminals, I hope...as far as I know, no-one has yet been killed unlawfully by the Security Forces, either coalition or Afghan...

I couldn't help myself but laugh at this.

To answer that, I do not condone any course of action that leads to war! Though I come from a long line, and a family, of military people, I could never be a part of that .. hence, went into banking, which seems to ruine more lives.

Shame what you, and all who are in such circumstances, have to endure. More shameful, is that we can't seem to be able to put an end to the escalation; but this isn't the thread for that :shrug: ... I still wouldn't want to, ever, be pointing my 200-400VR in your direction.

I'm equally nonplussed...I assure you...
Wars are usually started for reasons that appear valid to begin with...In time those reasons are generally found to be flawed...but such is the nature of man.
If we use hindsight then almost every conflict in History could have been avoided but for the greed and stupidity of a few...

The trick with wars is to get them over and done with as quickly as possible and then get back to the business of living...or in your case, banking...
And while we're on the subject, how about the House of al-Saud leaning on OPEC and getting the price of oil back below $30 a barrel...I run a V8 Mustang and the price of 100-octane in Germany is killing me...

don't mind it now, not in the slightest
always willing to pull a daft face with some friends
modelling though for someone?? not my thing..my kit is insured but I don't want to risk it!
however, some did video me singing on some rock band thing a while back...I objected to THAT

Oil, below $30 :nono:

Just bring your V8 to Saudi, it's just under 10p a liter; but that doesn't mean we have it all fun and roses over there. Most of our money, sadly, goes towards military expenses :'(

Still, bring that V8 to Saudi and you can enjoy driving it there to its' full potential :thumbs:

sort of this, im not bothered by having my picture taken but i cant smile on demand!

sticking a camera infront of my face is a garanteed way for me to prevent having my picture taken :D

You can't put all the blame on OPEC. For a while now, Tor Bay has had a fleet of a dozen or so tankers sitting at anchor waiting for the value of their cargo to rise even more.
