Yes
So a simple question really. How many camera bags do you own and where do you keep all your stuff..

I've got a lowepro slingshot 302aw today and whilst Its a nice bag, I can't see myself taking it out with me and the kids. I'll probably end up getting a smaller 100 or 102 slingshot just to take out.

3 bags.
One little jessops shoulder one for a body and lens
A tamrac something or other one I bought at focus, a shoulder sling style for 1 body and 3 lenses plus a few bits and a big lowepro for everything when I need to take everything.

Lowepro Rezo 170AW to walk around, when i want to take everything, including the tripod, i use Lowepro Vertex 100AW, great backpack!

5 bags

#1 lowepro bag I won in TP POTY Round 8, 2008
#2 Tarmac Partner back pack
#3 Bellingham not sure of the model, big green thing, had it for years
#4and one my daughter bought me
#5 A pull along that I use for my airport hand luggage bag, fits my Sigma150-500 in its case, and Lowepro camera bag in it

Lower Magnum 400 AW for storage - it's a bit big to carry around
Kata DC-445 for everyday

But just grabbed a Think Tank Retrospective 20 which is awesome, I can see it getting some serious use.

14 I think :D

The Tenba Tibetan is 36 years old ... the rest range from that vintage to current date.

I have a couple of Kata's which are great if you like cleaning yellow lint off your kit, a couple of green canvas Domke's, a big Lowepro for my 500 f4 and body attached, a Tenba Shootout backpack, a Tenba Metropoll for the bulk of my kit, a Tenba Mini Messanger, a couple of small Crumplers and the soft case that came with my 200-400.

Nearly forgot the padded tripod bag :D

2 Bags

Lowepro 100AW Vertex takes ALL my gear.
Lowepro TLZ Toploader takes D300 & 70-200mm F2.8 with 18-70mm in front pocket.

- Lowepro Photo Trekker AW II (home storage basically, lenses get transferred to other bags when going out)

- ThinkTank Glass Taxi (standard bag used every day, has belt and a couple of pouches)
- Crumpler Daily 490 (used for travel)

- ThinkTank Digital Holster 50 (used out birding, but very rarely, so for sale)
- Domke F1-X (not used, for sale)

That's it, pretty frugal by some standards I reckon!

Tamrac Expedition 7
Lowepro Fastpack 350
Lowepro Stealth reporter 650
Plus
Karrimor Sabre SF 75L, 45L and 35L + 2PLCE pockets and Yoke

Yup, I'm a bag freak, but I'm getting it under control....slowly

But my camera straps are made of paracord and S biners, which is a Biiiig saving

Lots :D. Kata Bumblebee bag is used most of the time for general use, if I go out into the mountains then I use my Lowepro TrekkerAW, Sporting events I use single Lowepro camera bags which will hold D700 and 70-200 lens. For Caving I use Pelicases.

Seeing as i have like No 'gear' anymore. I'm just throwing the 1Dc and the nifty in the bag. But i'f i'm going out to take photos/job for some one. Then its in to an Army Surplus Haversack. With camera,Len's. Cleaning stuff and all that good jazz.

four bags

2 lowepro hoster systems one long one short with attached pouches , a lowe pro rucksac, and a small jessops bag housing the 645

as to where i store my gear -I'm currently building a bespoke chest of drawers

Hmm, Lowepro Flipside 200 & 300, Stealth Reporter D300AW, and most recently the wonderful Think Tank Retrospective 20 (pinestone). Apart from the 80-200 which lives in its hard case, all the lenses are stored in the Stealth Reporter which has a nice 'open' layout for easy access.

I use a Lowepro Rover AW II if I want to carry all my stuff and when I want to travel light I use a Lowepro Toploader Pro AW 75 :)

I want a back pack, as I've out grown my bag but I can't help think they're damn expensive!

My Berghaus pack wasn't as much! :(

Four!

- Muffin top 5500
- A Kelly Moore [/girl]
- Amazon rucksack (cheap but fab :) )
- One I made myself.

I'm feeling a 5th coming on. A holster style for body + single lens ...

Equipment lives in the rucksack most of the time, getting moved in and out of the other bags as needed.

I have one bag, Lowepro X200.
I'm looking for a second, smaller bag for smaller jobs though and a strong padded box for my lights.

Four

Lowepro Vertex 200 AW
Domke J-3 Ballistic Super Compact
Domke F-2
Domke F-3X

Bought and sold loads, always in the market for the perfect bag. :)

amazon are doing the slingshot 302aw for £42 rather than £100

2 at the moment.

Fastpack 250 for skiing and when I get on the plane.
Crumpler Muffin Top 7500 for out and about.

Might get the Crumpler Jimmy Bo 3/400 for just the body and lens.

2 bags at the moment - a tiny Lowepro Altus 120 that came with the camera, the size of it means that it's just used to carry my 1000D with a nifty fifty. The other is a frankly huge Crumpler New Delhi 620 which is used to take a load of gear, a laptop and personal stuff to events.

thinktank airport international.
newswear belt + lens pouch
peli 1650 for studio heads
3 elemental stand bags for stands / grip

the thinktank is the sheer definition of awesome. No issues with holding, protecting and securing 3 bodies and the glass to go with them

newswear pouch is great, love being able to chuck a lens or a flash in it, the velcro is loud though, but hey, they're designed for war zones, not weddings.

Sony LCS-SC20 for storing my most-used gear (holds 2 bodies, 5 lenses, grip, flash, cleaning gear and innumerable odds & sods.

Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home (love the velcro "silencers") for when I'm out and about - comfortable to carry, holds everything I need for a day out (including a rain shell and a flask of coffee) and best of all doesn't look like a camera bag full of expensive gear.

For everyday, walkabout and general trips with one body, either gripped or 1D series with any combination of up to 3 lenses or 2 lenses plus speedlite, spare batteries, cards, UV and polarising circ filters its my trusty Samsonsite Trekking which I think is a DFV90 like this:
http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_1&products_id=111378

I've adapted this from a shoulder bag to a waist bag by the simple expedient of adding a milsurp GPMG shoulder strap.

For those "take everything" trips and as a form of storage I use a Lowepro Trekker AW.

My Cokin filters live in a Cokin carry case (which I can clip on to the Samsonite) and otherwise there are, largely unused, three Lowepro lens cases and my Canon G series IR conversion lives in a little Hama case which does no more than keep dust, dirt and chocolate off the camera.

Damn, I've got more than I thought!!

3, all Lowepro

Rezo 180 AW, for camera with 1 or 2 lenses
Flipside 300, takes camera, 3 lenses and more and is within Ryanair's hand luggage dimensions
Fastpack 350, takes all my gear plus laptop and general stuff

4 if you count the peli

Think tank photo urban disguise 50
Lower fastback 250
GEM photo backpack
Maplin peli styled case

All serve different purposes but have all been tested to the extremes!

i`ve got 2, a muffin top 5500 and a kata 467i backpack which i tend to keep my gear in most of the time.

I've got 3 bags.

Main bag - DaKine Sequence (gear lives in this) although this will be going up in the classifieds soon as I have an FStop Guru, with 2 different sized camera units (its a system where you buy camera units and then outer bag in different sizes) on the way, currently stuck at Dutch customs, so my gear will live in the larger camera unit and either loaded into the back or into the smaller camera unit or another bag.

Smaller bag - FStop Bard, for when I want a messenger style bag, I mainly use this when on business trips.

Really small bag - Lowe Pro something that just holds 5D and 50mm prime.

Next on my shopping list is a much larger FStop bag to go with the small camera unit for backpacking trips.

I've got x3 - lowe pro mini trekker, kata rucksack (for when I need to take my laptop) and a tarmac shoulder bag when I need to travel a bit lighter:) They all have there purpose and happy with all of them

Lowe pro Rover AW - Generally use on all my outings
Lowe pro Stealth Reporter 650 - Use to store all my camera gear at home
Lowe pro Stealth Reporter 100 - Small bag don't really use anymore

Casually and most of the time around London, i use a shoulder bag i bought off Asos and use the padding from my Stealth reporter 100 inside it.

My kit lives in peli cases. I have a lowepro backpack that I never use now. When out I either don't use a bag, or just use a normal backpack.
