How long do you give Amazon sellers to deliver

I order something from an Amazon seller on the 7th and the last day for estimated delivery was yesterday, the 16th. Its coming from a warehouse in Cardif. But its not here so I've sent them a message to find our where it is. Also they say the us RM, yet don't provide a tracking number.

How long would you give it until you tell them they can keep it and you'll get it from else where? Oh and they do a full refund within 14 but I don't want to wait until Tuesday.
 
Thats pretty poor IMO.
@MWHCVT maybe the best person to comment on that.
I know he had similar issues recently, that were resolved.
 
My issue was slightly different, however if it's outside the delivery window I would contact them, and have them either resend with expedited shipping or refund, whichever you prefer...make sure you do all communication via amazons contact function...who did the shipping was it the seller or was it fulfilled by amazon?
 
I've just looked at the item to see who dipached it but its now saying its currently unavailable. I had an email on the 8th to say its been dispatched by RM, so should've been here ages ago... if the email is true.

Like I say I've messaged them today but it was after their office hours. So if I haven't heard anything by lunchtime tomorrow I'll take your advice Matt. Although they say it can take 28 days for a refund :O

Just looked through some of there feedback and it does seem most of the issues with negative feedback are delivery related and those have shot up this month, but there have been lots of well publicised courier clogs this month, I'm confident it will get sorted for you though...the only issues is that if it has been lost in the post, if they no longer have stock it looks like refund will be the only option :(
 
Must admit i have moved as much away from Amazon as i can, the delivery system is just unreliable now i think they moved over to their own courier and it just went wrong. I used to buy a fair few Blu rays off Amazon i was never in a hurry so used the free service then the free service took a week and even then it would not turn up at parcel 3 no show i stopped buying
 
Was this one of those "bargain" items, you paid 1p for? :whistle: ;)

They got back in touch again and offered a refund. As it hasn't cone today I think I will take the refund.

I don't mind buying from Amazon themselves and to be honest I haven't had too much problem with other sellers, just this which may be out of their hands anyway, and another trader. Some items have taken a while to come but they are normally from china. And I always go to Amazon before eBay.

Same here I've never had a delivery issue before or after my printer and that will not stop me using them again in the future
 
Looks like they sold you one then went to the cupboard to find it bare.

I ordered a few last minute little presents for the missus from Amazon as well as ebay and they all arrived really quickly the last one arrived yesterday I think that you was unlucky:)

I would hazard a guess that most post is sent through RM without tracking numbers, so not having a tracking number isn't that unusual for RM post.

I would think 2nd Class parcels are probably going to be quite slow at this time of the year. RM don't even consider it delayed or lost until 15 working days have elapsed, so it might not be the senders fault.
