How long before I name and shame, if I can.

I recently advertised an item, a member agreed to purchase, said he could not do BT, then he said he could not do paypal, then he said he would send a postal order, the last communication said he would ask someone to use their credit card to paypal the funds.
It was about a week ago I last heard from him, he has since ignored my pm's and has visited the forum on a number of occasions since.
So firstly, am I allowed to name and shame?, and, if so how much longer shall I give him?.
 
I personally would say yes, simply because I wouldn't want to buy from them if they are so unreliable. No excuse if they have been back to the forum since. Let admin decide on naming them person though.
 
Well that's what the feedback thread is for ;) It's there for honest feedback of sellers/buyers
It's slightly different from what it was originally intended for though, as they actually didn't partake in a transaction.
Still, they were buying, so if it's honest feedback about them as a buyer, then I don't see a problem with it.
 
Having cleared out some of the relevant Pm,s I have checked my email notifications and it is not quite a week since last hearing from him.

I will give him a full week to either conclude or renege on the deal.

Either way I shall be posting the appropriate feedback for others to consider before dealing with this member.

To think I nearly posted it :cuckoo:

Much as I dislike having to name and shame a member I notice he has been on the forum again last night without responding to me, He has now been given long enough to respond.

I will be posting a warning to others in the feedback thread sometime today.
 
What I do on Ebay when I have to relist due to a non-payer is put "relisted due to non-paying bidder xxxx-xxx" at the top of the listing
 
What a shame that this forum is starting to experience this sort of thing - Not Galaxy66 naming and shaming, but the fact that he has had to.
I have bought and sold lots of stuff here, always without problems - I have even been given and lent stuff.
At least there was no money lost, but as a forum works by people communicating, or not in this case, it seems a shame - it isn't hard to let the other person know if you can't complete a sale......Sadly, it seems that the good old days have now started.

Iv' had that also it is very rude!!

Anyway Now that he is now named and shamed I will close this thread.
