Hi All,

I have seen this kind of style/processing around and I was wondering if someone here can tell me how it is achieved. It is the tones and detail of the people I am drawn too most.

I assume there is more to it then straight HDR processing or is there?

I can't seem to embed the image but here is the link: http://500px.com/photo/20682165

Cheers
Trevor

Tonemapping and a healthy dose of Clarity/midtone sharpening I would think.

The photographer says..

I find it hard to describe the whole process of processing, because of poor knowledge of technical terms in English, I can say that the work on the image , I do about near 4 hours in the CS5.

Something's telling me the pigeons may have been added later? No one is taking any notice, not one person is looking at them.

Looks very HDR, great image.

One of the topaz filters might give a similar-ish effect too.

There's some High Pass Filter in the mix there as well.

I'll mention it because no one else has: the forum rules state that you should only embed your own images or those for which other members have requested or allowed edits, otherwise you should - as you have - post a URL. Having said that, I know this from seeing it repeated, though I'm sure it's posted somewhere...
