Just a quick one, how is this faded border in this picture achieved?

i know about lens correction on photoshop but this appears to be more squared rather than round?

anyone know? :)

You should probably post a link to the photo unless it's yours?

It looks like vignette or possibly a layer style?

I'd do something like setting a feather of 100 -180px (depends on the image size and how obvious you want the shading to be).

Draw a marquee and select inverse.

Insert a levels Layer Adjustment and the adjust the middle slider to the right, down to 0.7- 0.5

There are many other ways :)
