Yes
4.75 mls for me, trying to get a bit fitter after a recent op' in hospital a new record for me, last time I walked anything like that I'd have been a teenager 50 odd years ago:D:)

I used to walk 5 miles every day, the only problem was after 5 days i was 25 miles away from home :D

Well done walking is better for you than a lot of people realise.

Not much over the past few weeks - been having to stay in to make tea for the kitchen fitters! Usually do either 2 1/2 or 5 miles - 2 1/2 on Mondays and Wednesdays, 5 on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the other 3 days being more variable. (2 1/2 miles is one 9 hole round, 5 miles is carrying on for the 2nd half!) Managed to drop about 1 1/2 stone since mid June, just in time to put it back on in a few weeks.

The usual daily 3 to 4 miles with the dog.

Just a short 5 miler on the Quantocks today but it was lovely. Weather was better than forecast, heather's in bloom, saw lots of wheatears and stonechats, some early fungi, a huge 'flock' of dragonflies, 2 red hinds (and there were almost certainly more we couldn't see) and all was well with the world. Walking's not just good for you physically - pick the right place and it's good for you mentally too.

When I wore a fifbit I was averaging between 10 and 15 miles a day and that was just work related !
No idea if that was accurate of not but I do have an active job

I use fitbit but also use the map my walk app, there is quite a difference between the two but as map my walk uses gps I take that as the correct figure.

I try to do 4-5 miles at least three weekday evenings then about 12 miles at the weekend. This is actually going for a walk, not including any walking done during a normal day at work, etc.

I use Runtastic to work out the mileage. I use to use Map My Walk but had problems with it.

I use Map My Walk. I've had a few issues with it but more to do with the GPS on the phone not activating properly than the app - just needs a reboot of the phone now and again. I only started using it because occasionally I walk with other people, get chatting, come home and can't work out where we actually went. It's a bit embarrassing when I'm out on my own on the moors and it'll tell me exactly how my half planned 10 mile walk turned into 15 miles as I keep wandering off in random directions to look at things..............
I couldn't give a damn about distance, steps, calories or anything else - I just enjoy walking, especially on my own.

Saturday me and the wife took a lovely walk from Mirfield to Huddersfield to have a quick look at the food and drink festival which is about 5 miles and then got the bus home. On Sunday we wandered towards dewsbury along the cycle path as the sun was out again that was probably about 5 miles as we detoured through the new park they have landscaped on the old tip. That's about right for most weekends.

Possibly. I mainly walk coastal routes and on a couple of occasions Map My Walk sent me three miles out to sea then instantly back again adding six miles to the distance.

I have unplanned additions like that too. On three occasions this year, I have planned to finish my walk in a particular village and get the bus home, only to find the road closed and obviously, no buses running, adding seven miles to the walk as I have to walk home.

16.25km yesterday apparently. I'm in London for a few days.

4100 steps / 3.3km yesterday, according to my telephone. Most of that was mowing the lawn / gardening. Just looking out the office window at the grey clouds and deciding whether to risk a lunchtime walk.

I sweep the streets of Leicester mon-fri, this is a short round day.

I did around seven miles yesterday, as I had to do a blood test, and didn't have any transport, so I suppose by the end of the day I did around nine to ten miles in total. I usually aim for around one walk of around six miles per day.
Walking is the best exercise for fighting osteoporosis as you get older.
