Hi all,
Kind of a long time lurker, but thought I'd sign up and sort out a proper account!
My name is Matt and I live in Wigan (near Manchester) - I'm a Product Designer by trade, but the past 2/3 years or so have discovered a new love of photography.
I started off with a Nikon D40 but recently upgraded to a new D7000. I've a nice collection of your 'starter' type lenses ranging from a Sigma 10-20mm to a 35mm 1.8. Am also quite keen on extreme sports photography using my GoPro HD.
In 2010 I tried to 'up my game' so to speak, so did a 52 project (1 shot per week of 2010). I really enjoyed this and have started one for 2011 also.
Part of why I have signed up to TP is I'm keen to take it to a new level and am open to feedback - good & bad!
