I find that GQ the magazine, adverts, tv and surroudings get my creative ideas going but best of all its youtube yes youtube...

for all glamour and fashion people out there search youtube for

FTV Sexi or FTV photographer...

get some awesome ideas, as u can watch the poses and where the lighting comes from
 
Personally I choose a theme in my head (or get given one in my nail comps).
Then I like to see how far I can stretch the idea & often evolve it into something else entirely.
 
I like watching the photography sections on FTV, I love watching some of the tutorials. I look at other's photos and learn a lot from that and I read books and a few photo mags too. I like to listen to other people's ideas too and quite often I find my subject has some good ideas themselves. Allowing them to express those ideas ahead of any shoot is great because it allows me to research them and reverse engineer them (make sure I have everything I need!)

I also like people watching and I assess them in terms of pics a lot (too much!)
 
I get inspired by things i see on the internet, things i see on T.V

And sometime when i am out and about see something and think to myself, I wish i had brought the camera with me now :)
 
I see stuff on the net/outside/in my head and i just think, right thats it! To sum it up, i dont really know, i just think, right that'll look good/different, so i give it a go!
