How do you fund your photography habit?

I attend work for 37hours/week to fund my hobbies...

Im a Visual and Dimensional inspector working for Rolls Royce, I check the Large Fan Blades in the Trent line of Aero Engines. I work a permanent afternoon shift (12noon-8pm), which is great because im lazy and hate getting up in the morning. :)

Im lucky in that my work is relatively easy and well paid and unlike a lot of jobs im able to "switch off" after a days work.

My photography funds my life. ;) I don't buy equipment though, really, so that's that.

My music funds my drinking problem.

Student loan pays for my gear :) I'd like to take a moment to thank those hard working tax payers, thanks guys - you rock!

Theft, aggravated assault, taking with menaces etc...
And for work, the Army buys all my toys...lol

I work in IT, so no income there nowadays, with every tom, **** and harry offering IT qualifications to everyman after a one week post course (I know you have seen that advert)

I just wait till the wife goes to sleep and get the surgeons in to harvest her organs, well I might need mine

I cant believe richard's short name has been censored, poor chap hahahaha

I work in an Oil Refinery, 37 hours per week + shed loads of overtime.

Half the O/T for me and half for the family.

Just got a 5D+24-105 and Kerso will be getting an order for 100mm macro, 17-40, and 70-200, (dunno which one yet) in the next couple of weeks. Just had to wait for the wife to visit her family first, (2 weeks in USA).:):):)

I use a plastic card, and apparently the bank pay everything for me!:woot:

For the past 20 years or so it's been various IT jobs for me as well, though it's not as well paid as it used to be and certainly not as interesting.

My web design business sideline pays for most of my kit these days, if i feel the need for more kit then i crank up the advertising and get a few jobs in. :D
