How do you find your pics...?

As the title says,

there seems to be an ever increasing amount of threads that say, "I found my pic being used by so and so for such and such - and they never paid me a penny!" How are you guys discovering this? Not that I think any of my pics would have been good enough for anyone to want to steal them but I am curious as to weather people are spending an inordinate amount of time on their PCs trawling through millions of internet sites for their pictures or whether their is a simpler way of doing this that I just don't have the where-with-all to work out?

there's a site, www.tineye.com , where you can search for specific images.

Very difficult. TinEye is fairly woeful as it only indexes a fraction of the pics on the web. Getty use a much more comprehensive service called "Picscout" which is from an Israeli company and they use it to invoice the hell out of anyone who has used one of their pics without paying for it. Do a google on Picscout and see what you find!

If you have a Pro Photobucket account it shows you what picture is linked to what web address, although that doesn't stop people from just saving it to their computer and hosting it themselves, but I use it to see what people think of the photoshoot's I have done (I'm a bit of a geek that way)
