I have PS8 but I have absolutely no idea what to do or where to start.

Any guidance / help appreciated:thumbs:

Hi. I'd also lose those random branches on the lhs and may be the aerials. Clone tool or patch tool is your friend here. I'd suggest you create an empty new layer and clone onto this (select 'all layers' on the options bar). Trouble is, how far do you go removing 'urban' clutter from a picture? Only you can decide that.

I use cs5 so its a little easier with the content aware tool but the same can be achieved with the clone tool in cs8.

Ok, so open PS. Open the image, click layers (?) then what ? Sorry, have never used PS before so really am a newbie to it

try a youtube search on 'photoshop elements healing brush tool' or 'elements clone tool', easier to watch it in action than try and explain it really

can't beleive how fast you must have done that to post in such short time from the OP

I used content-aware healing with Pixelmator 2

And it's only £30 and not CS5's £500

Edit:

It's £20.99 on the app store

Content Aware Fill comes at no extra charge with Photoshop Elements 9. About fifty quid.

This took less than a minute:
