How do you do yours? [part 1]

Just wondering, how do you cross-process.
Ive tried various ways/tutorials online but I cannot figure out how to do it properly with something that I like....so you do you do it?

E6 film through C41 process for me.

Adjustment layers -> Curves -> Mess around with each of the RGB curves.

But film x-processing is much cooler.
