how do you add video to an ipod touch

been trying to do this for a while converted video to mp4 format but when i use the add file to library in itunes it dosent seem to add

look under films

Look under 'Home Movies' in the Films library. iTunes has recently started putting ripped DVD movies and TV Shows into this category. If you do find them there then: Right Click, Get Info, Options, Media Kind - and change that to Film or TV Show to put it back into the correct category.
