:help: I cannot work out how one gets several pictures posted in the same forum, I use Image Shack and then paste and copy.......please somebody help my poor brain !:help:

Do you mean same forum Dave ... or same post ...
:p

post in the same thread.......I see some people put up several pictures one after the other and one just has to scroll down to view them all one after the other...

Cheers mate

Someone else asked the same question recently.

What I do is copy the url of each image (one at a time) to a Wordpad doc. Then highlight and copy or cut and paste all the url's in the Wordpad into the post here. Finally, manually add the the img tags
at the start and end of each url.

HTH. :)

If there's an easier way I'd love to hear it.

You can also use the sqaure button with the 'mountains' in ... just above the text entry box and enter your url stuff in the pop-up ... one after the other ... ;)

HTH2 ... :D

:p

I just copy and paste the url of the image into the post

like this

Code:
1.
[IMG*]http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/2007.jpg[/IMG]

2.
[IMG*]http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/2964.jpg[/IMG]

3.
[IMG*]http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/2806.jpg[/IMG]

4.
[IMG*]http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/2769.jpg[/IMG]

5.
[IMG*]http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/2758.jpg[/IMG]

or

Code:
[IMG*]http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/2007.jpg

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/2964.jpg

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/2806.jpg

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/2769.jpg

http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/2758.jpg[/IMG]

Do not put the * in the first image tag it should look like this I had to put the star in to stop it trying to find the link and display no link or picture, so it would show you how to code the picture url's.

Hope this is what you wanted to know

Try this -

Open (eg) Photobucket in one window then open TP in another.

Then you just need to toggle between the two pages copying and pasteing the URLs one at a time. When you have all the pic's you want in your post submit your reply.

If you have IE7 it's even easier to swop between sites. Check out the tab feature.

Hope this helps

D

I use Firefox tab feature as with richmond's IE7 to jump between the image and the post and I use the right click 'copy image location' feature to capture the address of the image and paste it using the 'mountain' icon.

Testing ...think I have it now .....

I am using Image Shack and have just recently upgraded to IE7 wow those Tabs are handy ...a bit more I've learned ...

Thanks everybody for the help and advice...

This would be good in the tutorials section.

Be mindful of the image size limit on here David, you're 3rd image down may have exceeded it.

That was nearly four years ago when I was learning how to post pics on here....ALL my pics are now no more that 800 x 600 which I believe is allowed.

Thanks for the concern after all that time it was Dec 2006 that I needed that :help:

Cheers anyway

:D
