Press a bunch of buttons on a PC or alt + g on a mac.

If you use windows hold down the Alt key and at the same time type the number 0169 on the numerical keypad
 
On windows click Start menu then Run, type charmap and hit enter

You'll get all the weird and wonderful characters to copy there.

Or Vista / Win 7 would just be Start Menu / type charmap hit enter

Or when you're using a laptop with no numeric keypad you can cheat and have a Notepad document with all the wierd symbols ready for you to copy and paste at your leisure :lol:
