Hi, I usually upload pictures to here and another forum using the bbc code on Flickr on my laptop but away this week and only got my iPad and when I click on the usual icon it doesn't seem to give me the option of copying the bcc code.

Am I looking in the wrong place for it or do I need to do something different from an iPad ?

Many thanks

Tony

Just been looking for that in the App Store and can't seem to find it. Is that the correct spelling ?

Should have mentioned that it was getting the bbcode using the app that is the problem. Using safari I have just found out (from an old thread) it can be done but I tend use the app when on my iPad.

I gave up. Sure I even emailed Flickrstackr or a similar, suggested app who confirmed that the BB code was not obtainable.

Essentially, I end up having to go through the Flickr desktop site on my ipad or Android phone to get the code that way. Long winded and a royal pain in the ass, it is.

How strange, just searched the App Store and it's no longer available it would seem. I do have it installed on my iPad though. I'll check to see if it still works...

I upload from my ipad without additional apps etc. I just log onto Flickr through Google rather than using the app. I don't find it longwinded or a pain in the ass, but I'm used to it.

Yes, I found out earlier that was possible (although I was sure I had tried in unsuccessfully previously) so will do it that way.

It does seem quite a poor situation for a major app to lose a much used function such as this when it's clearly there in the background somewhere though.

Just go to the link as you would normally do and click on the code to copy it. I have to click a couple of times for it to select all the code then click "copy"

Just done it with this from earlier today using Flickr on Safari on my iPad.

Just had an 'advisory' on my FlickStackrXP app that they are releasing a new app that covers all platforms such as Flickr, 500px, Picasa etc in a week so hopefully it will still offer the BBCode sharing in Flickr. If I get to find out what it's called then I will update this thread.

Cheers.

Ok, the new app is available and is called 'photoexplorer'. It's £2.99. Not sure if you can get to the BBCode or not, it does say it has all the original features etc but don't shoot the messenger if it doesn't... :D
