I folks.
I have shot a hundred or so images in RAW format but can't seem to figure out which ones I shot in HDR.
I've imported them to my pc using Lightbox.

Is there a way to filter HDR images?

Thanks for any help..

Can you shoot in HDR? I thought HDR was a Post Process the user did on a picture.. or a set of pictures.. after downloading to your computer..

I probably should of added I am using A Sony A77.
I think I'm right in saying that in Auto+ it takes HDR images?

are you sure the camera may bracket 3 shots but it needs to be processed ?

According to quick google search, it does have an in-camera HDR feature, but looking at a few sample shots, whist there is a higher dynamic range than normal, it's subtle. I am guessing somewhere in the exif, probably in the shooting mode info bit, it will tell you if it was in the auto hdr mode. However, no idea where you would find that information in Lightbox, it is something I have no knowledge of.

Yvonne has it right, the only issue is LR may not read the hdr data info, so you may not be able to see from it which is which.
Did the camera come with any Sony software? you may need that to be able to tell.

Where you've used the In-camera HDR function you will have 2 jpgs. One for the base exposure, and one thats HDR'd from the 3 exposures taken. I don't know any way to search/filter for the HDR'd version, but they should be fairly easy to spot if you look at the thumbnails.

Are you applying any import presets in lightroom, if your using an auto fix or something it might be making them all look similar-ish which might make it harder to spot.
With a clean card shoot just a hdr pic and one normal pic on the camera and see if it's got a different filename or prefix in the exif data.

Hi folks and thanks for the info.
I'm shooting RAW only and there are no jpg files.
I'll take the advice given and shoot 1 picture only in HDR and one standard and see if I can fathom it out from there.
Thanks again for the help..
