Yes
Every time my mouse goes over an underlined word, even on tP a window/box opens up telling me how to win an ipad or some such thing.

How can I stop this ?
Many thanks for any suggestions !

Check your browser for add ons to see if something dodgy has installed itself (or tricked you into installing it). Remove anything you don't recognise.

You could also try a different browser program to prove if the links are on the page you are viewing or being added locally.

Here at TP there are green keyword links added to help site funding but nothing pops up other than some mouse over text to show its an added shopping link. if you get more than that its not coming from TP.

Try scanning with malwarebytes

Thanks guys - I have just disabled an add-on called something like bfix (?) and in the business section of TP the word 'financial' no longer opens up an ipad-winning ad !
JOY !
Much appreciated - gramps, I'll run malwarebytes as well right now !

You wont be winning that Ipad then :)

I had this the other day. Thought I had it sorted but it popped back up again. Maybe you are sorted now  I ran Malware but it did not pick up on it. It can be listed under about a dozen different names and can be easily removed by going to control panel and uninstalling it like any other programme. here is a list for you if it happens again, mine was listed under Vuze.

Cheers U8myufo - if i get any more trouble I'll take a look - malwarebytes came up clean but I'll wait and see....

Malwarebytes is pretty damn good. If it says you are clean you more than likely are.
