how do I remove the owner!!?

I would be greatful if anyone could help with this. Owner of the pup wants to be removed from the photo - I'm okay at removing small items but this one seems a bit large and rather fiddley for the clone tool - especially when getting near the pup's head! I'm using Photoshop CS2 and not sure where to start !

Any advice would be most welcomed!

I think you are asking a bit too much there, in this type of situation I have taken the shot similar to yours and then taken another shot of the same view with your subject gone and blended the two.

Clone the grass/trees from the r/h side and paste over the l/h side and then use the eraser to paint the dog back in.

Thanks for your help both! I did say to her that to remove such a large object was going to be rather difficult but that I would have a bash (I think she took it the wrong way to start with and said she'd been meaning to go on a diet - oops!) .

I had a quick play and managed it (roughly, working from that small jpeg) in a couple of minutes....
