How do I print in black and white

I have had a document sent me which is in colour as well but I have run out of colour ink and need it to print in black and white, how do I do this? I have tried but the red print does not come out is there any way around this at all and really need it for tomorrow. :shrug:

Sorted it but it has not come out very well, oh well off to get new cartridges tomorrow.

does your printer control panel allow B&W prints - you may find the option if you open the printer dialog box under maintenance whatever..?

Normally in your printer driver - when you bring up the print dialogue, you need to click the Properties of the printer button. There'll be a tab/tick box for graphics. You need to select render as greyscale (or whatever your printer driver labels it as).
