I have an idea for a picture in my mind, but am not sure as to how to light it.
I want a sort of a "hazy" picture of a child blowing a dandelion, in half profile.
My guess would be to shoot with difused backlight, but I guess I am going to need fill flash to get some light on the face.
So here are my questions:
1. Is that correct? Because if not, all the rest of the questions don't really matter
.
2. I have a speedlite 430EX. Will that work with a remote trigger? Because to get the fill flash in the face, I would have to put my flash on a tripod. Or should I just position a reflector to her face and aim my flash at the reflector?
3. Do I compensate the flash exposure? Or do I just set it to normal strenght?
4. To get a hazy backlight, is it enough to get some filtered sun from behind, or would I be best to use a difuser (I have one in my 5 in 1 reflector set).
Thanks!!!!
