how do i get to cad west.

i`ve got the day off tomorrow and only live 45 minutes away so i`m thinking of going there.i`ve been to the Bwlch last week but i`m unsure of how to get to cad west.i`ve only got a 70-300 sigma lens and wondered wether this was up to the job till i get a bigger one.as i`m going in the morning is sun position a problem?.

any help would be appreciated,

Personally, I'm not a big fan of the light at Cad West a.m., Cad West is a much better proposition in the afternoon.
 
Have a good day rob. Let's see what you get. Hopefully it'll be pretty busy like the other week. I'm going over next Monday or Tuesday weather pending.

I'd be interested in your comparison to Bwlch where we were the other week?
 
if your going on tuesday gareth i`ll meet you there.mondays a possible for me but its all down to workstack and i won`t know till its closer to the time.i`m rostered off tuesday and wednesday next week so its possible i could swap days.i thought i`d see what its like.maybe do morning at the Bwlch then swap to cad west in the pm.hopefully i`ll have a good day.this time i`ll take some water!
 
are there any camping facilities close by ... or is it possible just to camp on the hillsides ?
 
no traffic past the bwlch today apart from this apache.i got talking to a guy who had been to cad west and there was a civilian heli lugging something up the mountain.i guess thats why there was nothing going through.
