Hi All

I took this picture in Tewkesbury abbey the other day. It was supposed to be a HDR image, but it hasnt quite turned out how I wanted it to.

Anyway here it is;

Can anyone help me get rid of that light in the top left hand corner? (let me know how :) )

2 seconds with the new content aware fill in CS5..............

To do it properly you need to make a copy then lower the highlights in a curve mask, then mask it so it blends in to the shot.

There numerous tutorials on youtube etc on how to work with masks and blending.

Here's my attempt:

A bit longer than 2s[!] using Elements 8. I selected the column ahead, copied it, set the blend mode to difference then scaled it and moved it so that it overlay most of the area affected. I then set the blend mode back to normal before painting out the distracting elements. Actually I copied this layer three times and moved it to different affected areas as, due to perspective, one layer wouldn't really fit every area perfectly.

Next I cloned out some of the lens flare spots and there you have it.
