How do I darken wall mounted spotlights in PS?

Hi all,
I need to darken the three spot lights in this picture, as in the large version the're far too bright, but can't achieve the desired results in Photoshop.
I've googled but can't find a tutorial that does what I need. Can someone please provide some guidance?

Maybe a bit of burning over the area with a soft brush. Not too sure that would be enough though.

Chances are that they're completely burned out, so reducing them will probably look messy. A tighter crop will get rid of two, thirty seconds with a clone brush will do the other.
