H ow do I batch process a load of jpeg files in photoshop to change the WB and adjust the exposure?

I have tried to record an action to open the jpeg as a raw file and the adjust the WB and exposure but it only completes the 1st one and then opens the others as normal jpeg files.

Don't you have the RAW files to begin with or are you shooting JPG? Eitherway you could use DPP to do that job a little easier than Photoshop.

Just set the WB and exposure on the first image and save the settings in a recipe file. Then select all images and copy the recipe. That's only going to be any good if the pictures all need the same adjustments of course but using DPP you can go through and mark the ones you want to adjust and select them instead of the whole lot.

Select Open as Camera raw, this then opens the camera raw editor, then adjust using a preset, then open to PS then save as Jpg.

It works for me, I am running CS4.

What software are you using and are you starting from raw or jpeg?

I have dpp and PS

Am I too late to help here
I've had the same problem to deal with, accidentally shot a whole days images with the wrong WB set, like you when I tried to batch the raws to jpegs, the first would work, the rest didn't.
Here's what you do, open the first raw, adjust WB & anything else common to those you want to batch process, before you close the raw conversion (ACR) save these new settings as the default (don't worry about putting it back when you've finished, these's a restore original default option).
Now create an action, & away you go, if you need more help pm me :)

Are you running the action as a batch action? Which version of photoshop do you have?
