I know I said no more freebies but, it's nearly Christmas so, time for a quicky :naughty:....

Show me a pic of just how filthy the sensor is on your camera - either a pic of the sensor itself or a pic you've taken that shows the dust/dirt.

The best (worst :shrug:) wins a box of sensor swabs :D

Ends midnight Friday 4th December 2009. I'm picking the winner this time and my decision is final. For those that like to start an arguement in an empty room (you know who you are ) it needs to be YOUR camera, YOUR photograph and YOUR dirt, okay

(mods please move to Competitions if more appropriate)

That told em Flash :D
May the Swabs be with you

dirty pics should be in the nudes section :D:D:D

UNFAIR!

Olympus users are being penalised in this competition:razz::nono::'(

I assume Janice is banned from the Competition ???

;)

highest F number you can and shot a plain white surface like a wall.

I wouldn't be able to sleep!!!!!

I usually check mine at minimum aperture and clean it if necessary before going out for the day. The theory being that I'd rather clean one sensor than sit at the computer and clean 100 pictures.

I just wet cleaned mine the other day. :( I'm a bit anal about dirt on my sensor. :)

I think that you should have to post the aperture that you shot the photo at as well :P

was pretty grim, at 'only' f14.

I blame a pants rocket blower that had stuff in it :(

Anyone know how to add dust bunnies in photoshop? :D

I'm sure burn would do the job nicely...but where's the fun in that :nono:

:bonk: just did both of mine....I now know why I still have a full box of swabs, nothing on d300 and just 2 that have blown off with rocket blower on D70s ....

...good luck you filthy beasts

Ach, I think anyone with a Canon will nail this comp, eh?
:exit:

I am actually amazed that there are already 2 from d300's - they have built in sensor cleaner, what DO you do with them guys? I am in no way anal about protecting my cameras and sensors, change lenses in all weathers and dusty locations, with camera still turned on, etc but never managed to get it filthy and only ever used the rocket blower on it once or twice in the last year :cuckoo:

not a single spec on mine

Mine was from my old D200, shortly after a runin with a very very bad rocket blower that had gunk in it, that it promptly sprayed all over the sensor... :gag:

That's what happened to me !!! and I did it outside on the 14th floor when it was windy.....bad idea ! lol

 Er I've never cleaned mine! taken about 2 minutes ago! :help:
