How did they walk away from this ...

Given he had two broken legs I'm not sure he did walk away...

As to how he still has a pulse, pure luck I'd say, but I've been a recipient of the same kind of luck myself though not quite as extreme as this crash but I did suffer a serious crash having to be cut out of the car with just a minor cut to my arm

:)

You know what I meant ;)

Think he must have landed on the grass verge - the only thing I can think off as to why he was still with us...

Pardon my Polish but HOLY s***!!

When he wanted to go for a spin, I'm sure that wasn't quite what he had to mind. But, it is amazing he actually got out of that relatively unscathed given the nature of the accident.

I wonder whether this was a better outcome than if he had worn a seatbelt? Perhaps lucky he was slim enough to fit through the window, not many of us are like Daisy and Bo Duke...

If they'll go all the way, can I have both for a week or 2 before I make a final decision, please? I know Ms Bach is now in her 60s but still looking good but I am rather partial to blondes...

20 years ago I was driving tbrough Vermont when a pick up truck flipped out after racing past us, closely followed by a Police car. The driver of that one joined the angels that morning.

Nothing as spectacular as the post above so, being pragmatic, you never know when your time is up.

I was in a crash like that when I was a kid. My dad's car was hit by a runaway MGB and it rolled for ages: no idea how many actual times but I remember it was like being inside a washing machine on spin cycle. It ended up with the car on its roof, completely wrecked. My uncle had to kick the back window out for us to escape.

There were 5 of us in the car. My dad got a broken toe and bruised ribs. Three of us were kids and got away with a few bumps and bruises. My uncle would have had broken his arm but for the fact he'd already broken it the week before; his plaster cast got smashed.

None of us were wearing seat belts as this was in the the early 60s and they weren't fitted, let alone compulsory.
