got my quotes back today so I hope I can nip up and grab them on Friday.

I'm gonna put in for games tomorrow after talking to Canon will either be

I used the cps form and put 150 quid as the limit.. anyhting over that they have to get in touch.. I got an email first thing this morning saying they recieved camera sent yesterday... no quote for more than my limit and wiht a 3 day turnaround they would have at least loked at it today so I may be OK

But its still fingers crossed

2x 1DMKIII went in for clean/service and cal with my 400 + TC's and 70-200 which all got a clean too - £370

Gloucester v Leicester for me on saturday in Aviva pL, then an unusual one on Sunday.... possibly covering London Freeze... shooting world class Big Air skiing at Battersea Power station. (possibly as i've not decided yet wether its worth the day in London. Not with a specialist agency so sales may be slim)

nice :) I also asked them for a shutter count on the mkIII but only if they would do it without charge...I bought it used wiht a supposedly low shutter and have used it as the short lens camera so shouldnt have took more than a few thousand... well 20 thousand maybe... so lets see :)

could do wiht another mkIV so may think trade in..

Hope I dont have to calibrate all my lenses again when its back :(

For those hitting the Reebok on Sunday, they opened a new facility called Bolton Central to replace the ticket office that was at the front of the stadium so give yourselves a bit of extra time to find where they are issueing the passes for the Liverpool game.

Mine's had a replacement power board, replacement power switch and replacement DIGIC processor...apparently from "Water Damage" :suspect::thinking:

Anyone remember a few weeks back it was really wet and horrid, and I spent a tuesday evening getting soaked at Bristol Rovers...

Morale of the story is...get some sort of raincover for your remote.

Nopw got a 12 bout boxing event on friday night.. kids to adults.. aba stuff.. done on spec but one local paper interested and can put pics on website...



sundays still free though :(
