How about this picture?

Personally I'm prepared to give people the benefit of the doubt, especially new people, because we're supposed to be the friendliest forum and if we're honest at times in the past some haven't been on their best behaviour, jumped to assumptions and some people with genuine talent have left.

If you've issues, use the report button please, let the Mods do what they do best. Let's not rollout the pitchforks and flaming torches every time someone suspects a poster of wrong doing. We're photographers, not vigilante guardians of the internet.

Oh and the image is still overexposed and getting it as right as possible in camera is best

You can check my profile. In it, i have mentioned about my Primary Camera and Secondary Camera. I use Canon as well as Nikon and these clicks are from Canon EOS 650D. I can even upload some more clicks if you want for verification :)

Hi Roshni,
Welcome to the forum by the way. Whereabouts are you from as I get the idea english isn't your first language (although it's far better than my attempts at other languages).
How long did you go to Paris for, just a long weekend? Apart from keeping money safe, any other suggestions, things maybe you saw you thought were good or things you missed?

Post up a few images and what you want from them. Do you want suggestions of how to improve?

When I try to upload images after resizing it as per forum rules for image size, the image is not coming which is why I shared the link of drive which was the appropriate option for me.

Yes, I shared image because I want to give inputs to improve my photography skills better which is the reason I asked for suggestions.

If this is a game, it's going right over my head!

The pic from Paris was taken on a Canon 1300D on 23rd Feb, not a 650D in March.

More than enough rope given to draw this to a conclusion.

Ok, so what do you feel is wrong with the image, then perhaps we could make suggestions in that area

Hi Roshni

I noticed in your signature space you have a link to something called "Auto Stamper", personally I do not click on unknown links. So can you please tell what this is as most TP members put links to or about their non TP photo sites?

Roshni, can I ask why you have a photo of Anushka Sharma as your profile picture? Was it a picture you took yourself?

I'm not on either side of this, but to be fair, many people have someone else as their profile photo - is your photo of you ? Did you take it ?

I already answered that question in this thread, and I didn't wait to be asked. The key difference is that my account of 1k+ postings and a decent buyer/seller rating since 2008 adds up, Roshini's account is one of the few amongst the 60k members of the site that really does not. Either way, I thought there may be an interesting or plausible story behind the image.

You're possibly right in that there is something suspect, but having someone else as your profile picture shouldn't be raising alarm bells..

No not on it's own it certainly doesn't. But there's a lot that is suspect about this account that it brings every element into question. As I said, perhaps there's a ligit reason for using the image. However, the SEO theory seems to be the most likely explanation, in light of the lack of anything else at all that rings true.

Not very good SEO as the link on the profile / signature is broken!

Oh so you're stalking her threads?

Come on guys, drop it, leave it to the mods. It's their site and we're really not coming over well again, which often seems to happen to people for who english isn't their second language. We are supposed to be a friendly site.

I agree with Byker, if someone has a problem then report it and mods will take a look instead of antagonising someone over and over.

Absolutely nothing to do with `stalking` his/her? threads, nor English being a second language. As far as `antagonising` someone? .................... you're `avin a laff  (friendly, is subjective & depends on who you agree with)
No one has been abusive in the least & actually quite patient imo, to someone who clearly isn't truthful & ignores questions from folk trying to help, when actually the main reason for the OP to post at all seems to be advertising.

Mods are aware, but that needn't stop us asking questions of the OP.

We have a history in the past of jumping onto new users without giving them much opportunity, then the pack mentality started. I'm hoping this doesn't happen this time, but there's a few heading that way.

I've said my piece so I'm stepping away now.

LOOOL! Sorry, what?! Stalking threads? I think you'll find that quite a few people here have looked at more than one of Roshini's posts, due to those threads being quite frequent and floating about at the top of the forum. As before, I've been a member of TP for nearly nine years on and off, and of course you always come across the odd awkward or disagreeable character, but this is quite unique: it's unusual to be confronted by a member whose posts and profile just don't seem to make any sense at all, even when they attempt to explain themselves! As OldCarlos has said, no one has been abusive or antagonistic, and I don't think the OP has done anything (besides posting a link to their product for apparently SEO purposes) which should attract the attention of the mods. I just find the whole business highly amusing in a good way ;)

Anyway, you feel free to carry on accusing people of inflammatory nonsense like stalking just because someone asks a reasonable question about a member's profile pic

I don't see the point of posting other peoples pictures, pretending they're mine and asking fairly innocuous questions about how they could be improved.

Assuming that could happen... Why? What am I missing here?

I made a statement about the OPs profile on this thread the other day, which they answered. Whether I agree with the answer doesn't really matter, but I'm prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt.
This quote I think is uncalled for.

Yes officer. Very good, officer

Both were totally called for: I was being accused of stalking, which is inflammatory. I think there's very much an air of 'holier-than-thou' creeping into some of the posts here. All I originally asked was about the OPs profile picture. And you can give benefit of the doubt to the OP if you like: as with others here I will give the benefit in the other direction, as this account seems fake and is primarily a mechanism to launch specious posts in order to get more people to click on the link in the OP's signature for the purposes of SEO.

P.S. the 'yes officer' post was a j o k e. I think you need to chill. Then again, Darth Vader is hardly known for lightening up eh?

There are unfortunately a number of TP members who like to be antagonistic or overly clever, and they seem to be out in force on this thread. If the OP is not who she says she is and is spamming the forums then I'm sure the mods will deal with it appropriately. If your not happy with that then I suggest you just stay out of the discussion. Oh and btw, Im sure you've noticed that my profile pic probably isn't me and neither is my username my real name, believe it or believe it not, its a usual occurrence on forums.

Come on Jake, judging by the posts in this and other Roshini threads I don't think the OPs profile pic is the primary quandary with this member :) (the profile pic matter has been dealt with previously, but I apologise for asking a simple question: it's not like I was asking for their identity papers :p) Anyway, I'm far from 'not happy', this is all rather amusing.
