How about some Nikkor lens porn....

Well if we can get CT to tell us something interesting about his Nikon days, I think we'll have broken the back of the cannon porn uprising so to speak. :D ;)

You have more chance of winning the lottery..

Nah ... they don't have what it takes to want to break free Adam ... :naughty:

Ay oop ... another song title thread emerging is it ... :D

That lot is (or was) probably worth more than my house.

I have to admit that the pic that started this thread is nothing short of amazing!!

I do agree that black lenses look so much better, so much so that among my Canon collection of 'L' glass, my only telephoto is the old 'magic drainpipe' 80-200 2.8L. It not only looks good, but it is one hell of a lens, certainly as good as the latest non IS iteration.

Great pic, Thanks

My Word! That fisheye weighed in at 5.2KG!

The pic posted by the OP almost made me........ Nevermind.

Life just isnt fair!

6mm fisheye used to be available as a special order only. No-one stocked them new.

So which one of those in your photo is joining your new D200 Joe ...

The one you're dreaming of ... Nikkor 200mm f/2 AF-S ED VR ... :D

:p

Nothing at the moment, but possibly one of the following at some point:

Nikkor 70-200 2.8 VR
Nikkor 135mm f2
Sigma 50-150 f2.8
Nikkor 35mm f2

:D

Maybe one day, but its a bit specialised tbh. :p

Out of those I would just HAVE to go for the 70 - 200mm VR Joe ... fwiw ... :naughty:

:p

Thanks for the input Ven. Yes it is a fabulous lens, but I need to ensure I buy the most appropriate lens for the job. For most sport it doesnt really do much different from the Sigma 120-300 2.8. Yes its lighter and more handholdable, but with my new monopod pouch this is much less of a problem with the Sigma.

We shall see. :)

hmmm, i think this porn is suspect and may be limited to a few deviants............

Like most of the forum???

I probably wouldn't have agreed before Tuesday night, but now........ You're soooo right

forgotten already? the milf marathon followed by the re-naming ceremony (had to get the highlights of that off Sue as i ducked out not long after you)

HeHe ... is that why you are here Jonny ... this being a decent, deviant free thread and all ... :D

HeHe ... looks like one he might've taken to Afghanistan with him ... and it got trampled by a tank or something ...

Thought you'd bunked off this thread Joe ... :D

But having lurked on the 'other' thread (the one with your stolen idea for a title) we may well be having one or two more visitors soon ... ... hide your gear quick ...

:p

No need to hide anything chaps - why would we want the milk when we've already got the cream?! :D

Yes, very true Ven. Sour cream and chive dip has to be one of the best! :D
