Just thought I would share my good news.:banana:

Looking at moving house so finally put house on the market and went to look at a few over the weekend. Found one we liked, Lady selling house wanted a smaller property, came and looked at ours and decided she wants it.:woot:

Result, house was actually on the market for less than 24hrs. Now in a blind panic as trying to get moved before Xmas:bang:

May even have enough left for a piece of L glass!:naughty:

I have had all sorts of crap trying to get sorted, lying barstewards of estate agents, keeping us out of the loop etc
"more" and "more" and "more"..... :bang: won't go on but still having problems several month down the line :thumbsdown:

Hope you make it before Xmas :thumbs:

Can hardly believe it myself.
Am over the moon:woot:, just saves on so much hassle and heartache.

Hope you can "push it" through quick Robin, they'll be on their Xmas break soon ( solicitors) :lol: its supposed to be "possible" in two weeks so fingers crossed for ya'

I can't see anything happening for us 'till the new year at least now :( that'll make it about 6months and counting :( )

Fixed fee luckily, its not actuallt the "legal" side of things its a bit lower down in the chain, one guy "knows" that the people he is buying from are in a bit of a "predicament" and at the point of signing contracts he tries to knock a little more off the price, this is just the more recent of a long line of hold ups............dodgy estate agents and a list far too long to mention, this is becoming the final straw and I think "someone needs a little push :bat:

Pop and pay a visit :bat:
I reckon by having a limited chain probably saved meself 3months of hassle, gotta be worth it :thumbs:

And I really do wish you a speedy conclusion, Robin!

our buyers are downsizing too,
So there is all that chain behind them "our" estate agents tried to get us to buy theirs, as they were selling both but it wasn't what we wanted and not a lot bigger either.
Oh well re another recent thread we are buggering off to lapland for a short break just before Xmas as a kinda consolation prize
