Looks like a scortcher this weekend - 26c or so in south east, so can get out and enjoy myself!

Was planning on Waddington Airshow but will be very hot and kids will get stroppy so fancy the coast for one day. Normally do Aldeburgh which is nice but fancy Southwold for a change, although it is bound to be crazy this weekend, and I hate crowds!!! Queues for everthing and probably little chance of nice photo opportunities!

Unsure about a theme park the other day, or Old Warden flying evening!

Who else has plans for this weekend now Summer is here?

That's not hot. It's going to be 40C in Córdoba both Saturday and Sunday. That's hot.

I'll be at Waddington airshow.

We have a seated enclosure, which if they follow the same layout as last year, is right next to the hog roast and the bar. Winner.

Can't wait, I'm planning on taking my jet out for once before this summer dissapears!

Hope its good, can see it being packed and very hot!!!

No chance, accordingto Telegraph this will last at least 2 more weeks!

Are you sure you going for the purpose of the aircraft! :D

Um... maybe..?
In all seriousness, had this booked since tickets went on sale. Just a bonus it is going to be pleasant weather! Sun cream, hat, liquid... check!

Yep, likewise.
This is why I am very glad I have reserved seats in one of the flightline enclosures.

Now I'm excited! There's been crap weather to the point that a lot of radio control clubs have been grounded! Time to crank up the turbine :)
Even keeping my P.P.L topped up this year was awkward as I take off from grass and a lot of flyers have slowed down!

Having the aircon on my car serviced this pm so it's bound to turn cold

il be at Waddington in the spitfire grandstand, cant beat a table and chairs rather than busy crowd line sweaty armpits in your face.

Glad we booked early , brilliant bonus the weather forecast :)

I can think of another!

FWIW we've got 28C for Sat, 29C for Sun.

:D

Actually, the local forecast has just finished here,
on the TV and
we are "on target" for 27/28 this week-end so not that far behind you
(for a change)

Meanwhile, here at Newfoundland . . . I mean Folkestone, it's dull and overcast where the cloud base is shrouding the hills to the north of the town - and not to mention it feeling cold and clammy.
And it looks like I could get plagued with this kind of thing for quite a while as winds start to come in from what is still a cold North Sea while the rest of the UK basks in clear skies and warmer temperatures.
I could be wrong and it may turn out clear and warm over here after all, but I do have my doubts as far as this neck of the woods is concerned - why break the habit when it has been like this since last November. :D
I'm the most nearest point to the Continent and yet the climate around here seems to resemble Port Stanley rather than the Port of Dover. :D

Lucky you - my aircon has stopped working... compressor gone. Not impressed as my VW is only just over three and a half years old!!

Air con??? In a Land Rover or my old Polo, it's called opening the windows

Manning a stand at the Heveningham Country Fair this Sunday. Must remember the factor 50, since I don't have much natural protection on top

Got lunch booked at a lovely country pub in Kent on Sunday.

Not sure what to do Saturday though? Maybe a spin and a walk - and a Mr Whippy somewhere.

And as expected, it's quite cloudy and misty here at Folkestone. :D

Lovely down here at the moment. Looking good all next week. Middle daughter is having sleep over this weekend so I am on bbq duties.

As to which weather app I use 1weather which seems to be very accurate.

I'd love to have a warm weekend, but doesn't look as if there's much chance in SW Scotland. Cold, damp and overcast at the moment. 26C isn't a 'scorcher' though. It's comfortable, but hot doesn't start until it's over 30C. OK, I'm South African on my mother's side and lived there most of my life, so I wear a fleece if it's much under 20C, indoors and outdoors!

I hate it when it's hot. Anything over about 25c is too hot for me. If this carries on I might have to do without my thermal underwear. Bah Humbug!

It is a scorcher... when we have not had temperatures like this for 9 months+

I am similar, love it dry, like the blue sky but 22/23 is my perfect temp.

Mind you, the ladies around in London yesterday looked stunning! One perk of the warm weather!

So what weather apps do you guys like? I'm a WeatherPro fan.

I open the curtains and look out the window first thing in the morning
Don't trust weather thingys

Round here that's as good as it gets
It never does what they say it will :shake:

It eventually became pleasantly warm in the hazy sunshine by the afternoon once the mist and coolness of this morning's faded away. Well, the max of 18 C is warm when compared to the past few weeks!

As for getting weather info, speaking as an amateur forecaster myself I get all my weather info from looking at satellite images and raw model outputs (NAE for cloud, visibility and precipitation, METO fax charts for isobars and the GFS for temperatures, upper air temperatures and wind direction along with looking at CAPE readings for any storm activity. Then I "fine tune" it all as I add my own thoughts to it all) rather than rely on apps.
In other words, I do all my own home grown forecasts when I compile my Facebook Cloud Master forecast. . . rather like a chef who does all his own cooking rather than someone who use pre-made oven-ready produce.

However, I'm not at all a heat lover, I've had my fill of heat and humidity when I was a tomato greenhouse worker for 20 years until the firm closed up two years ago.

Ricardo all I use is the Met Office website for UK weather. It's the most accurate of all reports I've found.

Heart radio that I listen to in the morning are full of ****!

26 degrees here today!...am really tempted to whip out the budgie smugglers ready for tomorrow :)
