Hot shoe OVF for film camera?

Well, this is a very long shot, I know. I'm playing around with this intentional camera movement thing, and it tends to need longish exposures. That's fine if your camera is on a tripod and your subject is still, but if the subject is moving and the viewfinder goes dark, well, it's a bit more than tricky. I'm wondering if there is an OVF that could go in a hot shoe, preferably with a bit of zoom on it, but not essential. Focal length about 50mm I guess. Main point would be to keep a (slow) moving subject centred in the frame during the exposure.

I thought of attaching a bit of cardboard with a hole cut out to the front of the camera with blue tack, but I think with eye movement as well it would not be very helpful...

What's an OVF?
 
Sounds like a job for a range finder tbh. I know you don't particularly like them but for £40 you could get a super Ikonta. For £20 or less you could get a functional fed.
