Hosting for my site

Hello. I have just brought a domain name and im looking for some cheap hosting as it is a site for my photography hobby. Im looking at paying monthly and ide like the function to be able to install Joomla. Ive noticed a lot of hosting sites state the monthly price but you have to pay annually.

Please recommend away.
 
Beav, send me a PM with your domain name and I'll set you up a free hosting package on my server, which will include Joomla, Wordpress etc :)
 
Doesnt matter who you registered it with mate, since you can update your nameservers to point to my server. When it's all setup I will PM you the details... Get yourself back on Facebook! lol

Facebook causes to many arguments for me. I use google+ which is pretty much the same thing but there are certain people not on it :D

No offence taken Neil, I run a web and graphic design business and we offer hosting to our clients. We have 3 dedicated servers and have never had an issue, in the 4 years we've had them. The company we rent them off I have an excellent relationship with, have known the directors personally for quite some time, which is why I'm confident enough to use them. Beav is an old friend of mine, so I'm just helping him out. Hope that clears things up for you. I'm not just some kid with a reseller package lol.

Hi, I was just wondering, if u could give me some advice on setting up a website, as I would like to set one up for my photography, and I have just sent off my application for. The OCA photography degree,,so I am looking at doing a blog as my learning log, so would also have this on my website if this is possible.

Hope I am not being to cheeky thanks Leanne x

Since you want a blog on your website, the perfect choice would be Wordpress. Wordpress is a blog/content management system. Later on I will send you a private message with some links to websites to help you get started, all the way from hosting and domains right up to getting started with Wordpress. It may seem a little daunting at first, but once you've read over them a few times and put it into practice, it's pretty easy to pick up.

Also if you need any help in doing it, I'm more than happy to give you a hand :)
