Hosting a photographic site (?)

Hi all, I've recently bought a web domain name, I'm looking for a quality host to start building my personal photographic website and have used in the past SquareSpace. Any ideas of any other hosts to look at that aren't tacky looking please..?
Anyone use SmugMug to show their photographic images...?

Any knowledge/advice/experience appreciated.
