Hi,

I'm going to Ascot on saturday. I've not been to a race meeting before so just wanted to see if anybody has been before? I have checked the terms and according to the site photography is fine as long as you don't use a flash and that the photos are not used commercially.

My only concern is turning up with a totally conspicuous 70-200 WHITE canon lens and them questioning me why i'm using this kind of lens if it's just for personal use?

I'd appreciate any advice.

I would contact Ascot racecourse directly and let them know what you intend to do.

Should be no problem but best to make sure before you go.
 
You will be OK but you will stick out like a sore thumb.
