And I'm not sure if this qualifies, it was made in Russia but post Soviet days

With out dragging the FSU thread off topic, how do you find the Horizon? I quite fancy and shot of one but I've yet to try the spinner which I think works on the same principle just taken to the Nth degree.

I had a Horizon S3 Pro for a while which I assume is just the older model of the current version. I didn't have it for long but I do remember that loading film was a bit fiddly due to it going under/around rollers to keep it flat. Other than that, it felt pretty delicate and the clockwork mechanism didn't fill me with confidence. Saying that, it didn't fail on me so maybe I'm giving it bad press when there was no need.

I found it a bit automated and slightly guesswork but if you want an ultrawide 35mm without building your own it's probably a good call.

I think I've only used it once, like @stevelmx5 said it's a bit of a faff to load and it's also a pig to scan but I might give it another go. I can't quite make from your post whether you've got one if if you fancy having a go, if it's the latter you're more than welcome to borrow mine.

I was thinking of buying one but if you're not going to use yours for a while I'll take a shot. :)
