C'mon you have to admit this is a pretty good idea if you have the space. Hay bales and a tarp is cheap enough to buy and if you have a hose pipe you're all sorted. I know IF we ever get another heat wave I'm doing this

You will appreciate this Ruth. In a place not that far from Gravesend, our back garden was 32C at midday, but unfortunately that swimming pool would not fit in it.
Many years ago, we spent a couple of weeks in Cannes, and the water temperature was 25C, unbelievable to someone who had experienced days out at Camber Sands and Dymchurch, where you got frostbite as you entered the water.

I'm a PADI registered open water diver and the last time I dove the red sea the water temp was 28c, lovely. We go to Cyprus in 6 weeks and the sea temp there is 25-26c.

I've always believed that anyone considering trekking across the Antarctic should begin their training at Camber!
