Hi all,

I have just purchased the Interfit Home Studio Flash Kit, containing 2 EX150A Flash heads, with soft box.

I'm getting along fairly ok with it, but I would like to get some nice artistic nude shots of my models and I can't quite get it to work for me.

What I'm trying to achieve are the style of shots where the majority of the photo is black, but the curves of one side of the female are highlighted.

Are these two lights sufficient to achieve this? Or do I need to invest in a continuos light?

Any advice on lighting and camera settings, would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Ramses. :bang:

I doubt if this is a fault of the gear, rather a fault of the user m8

Best advice I can give is a trip to Waterstones or the library to see if you can get a 'How to' book on Nude photography and take it from there. A pal of mine started his modeling life with just one low powered flash and turned in some fab back-lit dark & moody work - I'm not into it so can't help with technique, but I don't think you need to 'buy' your way to better shots - just learn more

Thanks for the feedback.

I certainly believe it is the user, hence why I'm asking for some advice.

Thanks very much Glen, appreciate the help.

I know I have to experiment, it's the only way, just wondered if anyone had any tips or advice, so thanks for your reply.
