Some time back I asked for info about home network plugs, got one (devolo) and it works great.

Now I'd like to add two more to the system.

Can I get them so that there is one input (from modem/router) and three outputs? What I want is to have the HNP in three rooms upstairs but wonder if I need three of them coming from the router i.e. one to feed each of the three outputs upstairs.

Many thanks, Kevin

You just buy more plugs. You have to get them to "see" each other (normally by pushing a button) but they will all work together.

Great, thanks for the replies. Will give it a go and report back in due course.

Cheers.

token ring

That's something I haven't heard of in a long while, remember using it with my PS/2 way back over 20 years ago.

I chucked out all of our token ring hardware when we emptied the office junk room a few years back so we had somewhere to install more desks for new employees.

we had one at college and my first support job.. it used to be a great way of getting out of lectures, take a terminator cap off or break the ring and the novell servers used to crash after 30 seconds

Was novel really token ring or was it just a loop? We used the old thin Ethernet at home with the t piece and terminators, but it wasn't token ring.
