Holiday lens upgrade

Hi all

At the moment I’ve decided that I’m not going to upgrade my camera from the Olympus M10 iii however I do feel that I’m probably being let down by the lenses as my current lenses are

Olympus 12-40 f3.5-5.6 pancake
Olympus 40-150 f4-5.6R
Samyang 7.5 f3.5 fisheye

Next year I’m off to Rome for a special birthday family trip so want to take as good photos as I can as such my question is should I upgrade my lenses I think the following would be a good walk-around set

Olympus 12-45 f4 pro
Olympus 9-18 f4-5.6

With the 9-18 I believe it's non fish eye as I'm not overly keen on the Samyang images they are a bit too bulbous for me.

Or is there a better lightweight setup that people can suggest.

My travel set up consists of Olympus 12-45, Panasonic 9mm/1.7 and occasionally the 15/1.7 too.
Along with my GX9 they fit nicely in a small shoulder bag which is lightweight for all day trudging around.
I mainly take photos of architecture, in and out so 45mm is fine as my longest focal length on m4/3.

Thanks for response thats mainly what ill be photographing as well, if you dont mind me asking why do you take the 15mm if you are already covered by the 12-40?

I would suggest that at F1.7 it will give more options in low light situations (ie darker interiors -churches, etc)

I used to like wide lenses but these days not so much so I think I'd bypass the 9-18 and go for a two lens set...

12-40mm f2.8 and 17mm f1.8.

I don't generally go for razor thin DoF but I like some degree of isolation and background blur and the MFT f3.5 and f4 zooms limit that so I'd go for f2.8 and wider, the Panasonic 12-35mm f2.8 certainly changed my mind about mid range zooms on MFT and these f2.8 mid range zooms are IMO well worth a look. I'd mostly use the 17mm f1.8 though.

Having thought about it myself a fair amount I think the only option I'd be happy with is the Panasonic 12-60mm f2.8-4.
The rest aren't long enough or wide enough or fast enough or too big or all of the above.

I'd make that my main lens. Then add a 9mm f1.7 if you can find one or the laowa 10mm f2. May be add a fast prime depending on what and how you shoot. Perhaps 75mm F1.8 to add bit more range?

The poll is limited to 2 lenses, but I'd have taken the 12-42 and 25 f1.8 plus 40-140.

There isn't a good ultra wide zoom for M43 like the sigma 12-24 for full frame.

I invested in the Olympus 12-100 f4 Pro as my main travel lens, plus the 7-14 f2.8 Pro and either Panasonic Leica 25mm f1.4 or the Olympus 17mm f1.8, as my 3 lens set,

I have also just acquired a Panasonic Lumix GM5 plus two tiny lenses (thanks Anand ), for when I want to have a camera with me, just in case, but not my main objective of that days travel. It is incredibly small and light for an ILC, with those two lenses giving me a M4/3 range from 12mm to 100mm. This all fits into a CamelBak belt pack, which could also hold a fast prime as well, should I so wish.
