Hi guys and girls
I'm Lee, 36 from Notts. Been advised to come here by a friend, although I don't know his user handle. I've been keenly snapshotting with a Canon Powershot A590 for the last 4 years or so, so finally decided to take the plunge and go full D-SLR. Opted for the Nikon D5100 which so far has only got a 18-55 standard vr lens. Looking to upgrade to a 55-200vr in the near future, and probably a Macro lens of some description further down the line.
My main interests are portrait, animal, scenic and my crazy kids for subject matter.
Just getting to grips with the operation of the camera at the moment, only done around 300 shots so far. Starting to understand the relationships between shutter speed, aperture and ISO levels, so hopefully will start getting some semi decent shots in the near future.
