Hmmm now Aperture 3 for £44.99 or Lighrtoom for £213!

Kev I think somebody on the Apple Q&A section is getting confused to be honest, between the App Store and the products sold on it..

Any way the most important bit is at the very start of the App store license.

The Products transacted through the Service are licensed, not sold, to You for use only under the terms of this license, unless a Product is accompanied by a separate license agreement, in which case the terms of that separate license agreement will govern

So the Aperture License overrides the App Store one, and no restrictions in there :)

Well I bought my software from here.
http://www.buyitultracheap.com/index.php

Photoshop cs5 299.99
Light room 3 149.95

All legit and are registered with adobe no problems. Not student versions or anything, in fact, my key for Photoshop is coming up as the full cs5 extended, not just normal one.

No idea why, but I am not complaing ;)

Were these download or boxed versions?

These were downloads, just plug the key into the trial versions from adobes site and voila!

Hi mate,
Things like this I am sceptical about but from what you say, you have been succesfull with..?

You chose the download version? How long did you have to wait for the serial number to be email to you?

Do you know what the statement means which say's you only have 2 x activation attempts?

Sorry for the questions and hope you can help.

Mark

Well, I bought it from their site and within 30 mins I had the activation keys. I downloaded the trial versions from adobe, bunged in the keys and voila, activated. If I login to adobe.com and look into my account and my products, they are all listed there as pukka as buying it retail.

:)

Believe me, I was skeptical too, but I bought it on the business credit card so I knew I was covered by Barclays if it turned out to be a crock of smelly stuff, but they weren't and everything seems totally legit.

Thanks mate, much appreciated..!

I assume if you ever needed to reinstall Lightroom you would keep the serial key safe and just download the trial again and enter the number..?

I was in the apple store yesterday mulling over buying a mac, as asked how much aperture was. Sure enought £44 on the apps store. Sales assistant said Apple are having a huge push with prices to make downloads the most attractive option. They want to do away with boxed software entirely.
