Hmmm Am I being to unfair...!!

You've only got to look at the grammar/wording to see that this is a complete scam. The funds will never turn up or, if they do and it clears, they will find a way of demanding a refund after yo have sent the item.

Walk away.

unless you have the money and can withdraw

it this has scam all over it

make sure if it does show in your account they cant reverse it...
 
I just don't trust ebay at all. Too many fakes and scammers out there.

Bought a putter off what appeared to be a very reputable business on there. Fake. Very good fake, but fake none the less. It's all so annoying. There are genuine people out there who want to sell on their stuff and make some money out of it.

That's why i'm so pleased with the Classifieds section on here, and the iTrader system, and for MPB Photographic also

Best course of action in my opinion. No way anything can go wrong with it then!!
 
No doubt in my mind, this is dodgy, contact ebay and let them know your thoughts onthis buyer and ask for their advice, but I would not follow through on the transaction, to many things point to you possibly being ripped off here.

another reason i get annoyed when people tell you on your sales post on ebay its this or that price.
now amazon thats brilliant never had one problem with them...

just dont send till ((if))!! the eqcheque clears... can take upto 2 weeks (i ha done!)
 
I would bet you £100 that you will loose if you send the camera now or even after the money clears.. :)
 
You have done the right thing by filing a dispute... Cancel it all - good reason why if they ask is "unconfirmed address"... Totally agree with others, I've been scammed before and lost £110.00 & the lens I sent them although it was sent by RMSD....

Never again, unconfirmed address then either pay cash on collection or BT!!! Simple as that, if your 100% genuine then you wouldn't mind the terms.....

Ebay is too much on the side of the buyer now-a-days and sellers private/business hardly have a leg to stand on...

He needs some UKP If he pays you £1000 will you refund the balance in cash and send the

Wow! ... what a coincidence that he's related to someone on here :cool: Please will you let him know the $4000 he overpaid is in the box with the Canon 600L 2.8 sent yesterday and that I'll deposit his cheque next Thursday :) .. Great chap he is too :thumbs:

Yeah I know him too!! His grammer wasn't all that good but had a heart of gold :thinking:
 
Well I have had contact with the ebayer this evening saying they would like to go ahead with the sale. I stated that they had said they wanted to cancell if the item would not reach them by 24th.

I have said 2 or 3 times this will not happen.. It will not reach them by the 24th ?

I am now ignoring there emails.... As it just the same shjt over and over
