Good morning/afternoon/evening (delete appropriately lol)
my name is chris and im from oxford uk
my gear
i have a canon eos 1000d with the starter lens and a 18-55 1.8 and a sigma 70-300mm.
my photography skills
well i have been taking photos for about a year now, and i am completly self taught, it started off just going to a few car shows with a compact and my friends said i had a good eye, so along came crg-photography. i then bought a pentax summit or other which was great but had to upgrade to the canon 1000d. i cant say i know the basics i dont understand apperture or otherthings completly yet and im shockingly poor on lighting (i tend to help my photos out with photoshop) so there my bad areas, good areas for me though i think are
1. i love experimenting with angles.
2. i live to create photos with like a colour splash effect.
up until recently i just done location shoots (cars, grid girls and fashion shoots to increase confidence) the other day i done my first studio shoot which i think went well (am i allowed to post links?)
so levels that i do with models are upto and including implied
im hoping to gain alot of knowledge and critique from the site.
anyway i hope i have not bored you with my intro, hope too see some replies.
