Hiya, randomly stumbled on this site and it looked good so thought I would join up.

I'm a newbie and have just started evening courses at college on photography to get to grips with the basics, I can see that it's going to be an expensive hobby already!!

Started off with a Canon 350D but shortly changed to the 450D, not much of an upgrade but I got a good price for it so it had to be done. Got the bug already and have seen lots of things that I want but think the next purchase will be a 50mm prime, so if anyone has got one going...

Anyway off to start trawling through all the posts lol

he means theres one for sale in the trading part of the forums, but us newbies need to be members for 30 days and have 100 posts before we can buy / sell

/edit that said in the rules it doesnt mention posts/time for buying that i could see?
