hi i have been wanting to take up photography for a while now, but dont know of any affordable starter cameras. if anyone has any suggestions on a good affordable 35mm film camera they would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Hi and welcome, there are lots of film cameras about, for me stick to Cannon or Nikon so you can use any lenses if you go digital, I don't know if Pentax or Sony/Minolta lenses will do the same but someone will tell you if you ask. I have Nikon Film and use the lenses for digital.

I have to admit i know nothing about film cameras i never used them, i only got into photography when the digital ase dawned but you will find some old hands in here that do know.
